FAQS

HOW CAN I CHECK ON MY PET DURING THEIR STAY?

You are welcome to message us or call us at any time during business hours to check on your fur-baby.

MY PET HAS A SPECIAL DIET. CAN THEIR NEEDS BE ACCOMMODATED?

YES! Please include any special instructions on your reservation, and bring enough of the special diet with you for your pet's entire stay.

WHAT VACCINATIONS ARE REQUIRED?

We require the following vaccinations.

Canine: Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

Feline: Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, and Rabies.

Any expiring or overdue vaccinations must have been administered within 2 weeks of your reservation.

WHAT ELSE IS REQUIRED BEYOND VACCINATIONS?

We are a flea-free facility. One of our staff members will check your pet for fleas at check-in and administer a treatment if necessary. We also require a negative fecal exam and proof of heartworm preventative for our canine guests.

WHAT DO YOU SUPPLY FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING?

Each pet (or family) has a private room with a bed, fresh bedding, and fresh water. If you do not bring food, we will provide food for a small fee.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY WITH MY PET?

We will do our best to contact your regular veterinarian. However, if we are not able to contact your veterinarian, we will contact St. Francis Veterinary Center for any emergencies.
